The Sarapiquí River is the perfect combination of adventure and nature. This section offers numerous class 2 and 3 rapids; of clear and refreshing waters surrounded by tropical jungle that makes Sarapiquí a true tropical paradise. First, you will be picked up at the reception of your hotel in the San José area. The duration of the trip from San Jose to the jungles of Sarapiquí is only one hour and a half, surrounded by a natural landscape characteristic of Costa Rica as it crosses the beautiful Braulio Carrillo National Park, renowned for its scenic beauty, flora and fauna. At the starting point, the certified guides will help you with the professional team and you will be given a chat with paddling commands and safety instructions.

Half way through, you will stop to taste a colorful buffet of tropical fruits. In addition, you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystalline pools or jump from the walls of the river. In addition, specialized guides will take time between rapids to explain about the species of flora and fauna that inhabit the area.

After 2 ½ hours full of fun and extreme adventure, a delicious typical lunch will await you at the riverside facilities. After lunch, you will return to your hotel.
